Ticket to Ride The Heart of Africa is a thrilling expansion to the popular board game, Ticket to Ride. This expansion takes players on a journey to the heart of Africa, where they will be tasked with building new routes through some of the continent's most remote and desolate territories. Players will have to decide whether to upgrade their skills in land exploration and local knowledge to try to chart more valuable routes, or to hurtle across the continent in a mad dash to end the game early.
Designed for 2-5 players, this expansion is perfect for families and groups of friends. The average duration of the game is 30-60 minutes and it is suggested for ages 8 and up. This version of the game is in Italian language, authored by Alan R. Moon and illustrated by Julien Delval.
The expansion includes a map of the Heart of Africa, destination tickets, new terrain cards, and rules. Please note that this is not a standalone game and requires an original copy of Ticket to Ride or Ticket to Ride Europe to play.
Set in the vast wilderness of Africa at the height of its exploration, The Heart of Africa expansion introduces 45 new terrain cards, divided into three different terrain types. Each type is associated with different route colors, allowing players to draw terrain cards just like train cards and use them to double the value of the routes they claim, under certain conditions.
