Nearly a thousand years ago, Ashrakal, called King-Stregon by his legions of followers, led the Men of Gog out of Desolation exile in a campaign of vengeance against the dissolute and decadent lands of the south. THE KINGDOM OF THE NEW GOD
The Kingdom of the New God reveals the details of one of the Empire's most important provinces, offering an overview of its history, the region and the people who inhabit it. In addition, this installment in the Lands in Shadow series offers a range of new paths for characters, both in service to the New God and in opposition to the cult. This sacred land has been the spiritual heart of the empire for centuries, a shining beacon ripping through the gathering darkness. Surely, of all the places in the Rûl, the Sacred Realm may indeed be the best hope for the future against the times of the foretold apocalypse, the sign of which are the terrible events that are shaking the world. Surely the Sacred Kingdom will rise to the challenge and unite the other provinces under its banners to crush the orc revolt and restore order to the region. Or will it?
