Sine Requie Anno XIII - Sanctum Imperium" is a dark and atmospheric role-playing game set in an alternate history where the dead have risen and are hunting humanity. It is 1957, and from the ashes of what was once Italy, a rigid theocracy led by Pope Leo XIV has emerged, plunging the nation into a sort of anachronistic medieval era. The smoke of new Inquisition fires rises to the sky, as the Church tries to eliminate any possible threat to its power by using violence. Templars in armor and brave hunters of the dead on their military vehicles try to preserve the population from the threat of the dead. Heretical groups, schismatic sects, and actual criminal gangs try to undermine the Pope's dominance, while from the north the threat of the IV Reich and its genetic horrors is becoming more pressing day by day.
This manual provides players with everything they need to set their adventures in the Sanctum Imperium. It includes descriptions of the territory, key characters, powerful groups within the Church hierarchy, and the regime's worst enemies. Players will also find new professions and the statistics for the terrifying creatures born from the Reich's secret laboratories. The manual also includes two adventures: "The Mysteries of Monte della Croce" and the long campaign "The Eyes of the Serpent," which will lead players to investigate dark plots orchestrated against the power of the Church.
